This course covers practical hands on training using a wide variety of current industry standard sprinkler systems and fire panels for participants to upskill or develop new skills. Fire sprinkler systems are required to be inspected, tested and maintained in accordance with AS 1851-2012.
Participants must be registered in Fire Protection.
Special hazards: Fixed system testing, maintenance, installation and decommissioning
This course is designed for registered sprinkler fitters and covers the competencies required for successful participants to apply for a qualified persons Extinguishing Agent Handling Licence (EAHL) category 2 and 3.
Please note: Licence application needs to be made directly to the licensing authority.
This course is designed to provide participants with the required skill and knowledge to produce 2-D drawings using CAD software.
This is an accredited unit of competency within the Diploma of Fire Systems Design and Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services.
